About MAVIS
MAVIS, formed within Stuttgart’s local music scene in 2019, channel their energy into songs that merge raw emotion with sheer destructive force. Emotional sing-along anthems, cinematic synth moments, and crushing breakdowns come together in a live performance that hits the crowd with overwhelming force.
While rooted in modern metalcore, MAVIS is not afraid to push beyond genre conventions, balancing sharp intensity with genuine emotion, creating a sound that refuses to be boxed in.
Lyrically, vocalist Phil Donay explores themes of self-confidence, tolerance, trust and love, while also confronting the darker sides of life, including disappointment, doubt, and inner conflict. On the instrumental side, guitarists Marco Weber and Manuel Weller deliver hard-hitting riffs, supported by heavy bass work and the driving drums of Jakob Schulz-Klein.
MAVIS stand for emotional weight, authenticity, powerful hooks, and a live show so uncompromisingly energetic that it leaves the audience a lasting impact.
